These are employed by landlords to market properties, carry out viewings, vet applicants, take deposits, draft tenancy agreements on behalf of landlords, deal with enquiries and repairs/maintenance during the course of the tenancy, collect rents and pay landlords and return deposits minus any legitimate expenses at the end of the tenancy term.

Rent Books

Professional agents will ensure that you are provided with a contract and Rent Book. This is for your security and protection as well as that of the landlord.

Communication

They will communicate with you in an open, transparent and professional manner throughout your tenancy term. This is especially important at the end of the tenancy.

Management

Managing Agents are obliged to manage maintenance expeditiously and cost effectively and to keep you informed of scheduled maintenance and repair work. In emergencies, the emphasis will of course focus on achieving a resolution.
